Our client is a company specializing in the buying and selling of gold, silver and foreign currencies.
They are recognized as a market leader in Belgium for these activities, serving both private clients and institutions like private banks and family offices.
To strengthen their newly acquired branch in Antwerp, they are looking for an Operations Manager, with experience in Business Development and Team Management.

Operations Manager – The Role
The Branch Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the branch, within the framework defined by the Group and under the responsibility of the Country Leader (Belgium).
The tasks include but are not limited to:
- Team management: plan employees’ schedules, leaves and holidays as well as the full employee cycle (on/offboarding, training)
- Act as a counter salesman during peak periods
- Perform AML/KYC analyses
- Handle stock management
- Full sales cycle (B2B): reach out to prospects (mostly family offices and financial institutions), present your services, close deals, act as the person of contact (aftersales)
- Reporting to the Country Manager and the COO
Operations Manager – About You
- You have obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- You are fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus
- You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role (experience in B2B sales is a must)
- Previous experience in a similar industry is considered a plus
