Senior Accountant – Up to 6500€, 50% remote

For an institution active in the banking sector, we are currently looking for an experienced senior accountant.

In a team of 4 people, you will be in charge of all accounting and tax obligations for several of the institution’s legal entities, in Belgium and abroad.

Senior Accountant – The Job

The tasks covered by this job include but are not restricted to:

• Help in the quarterly and yearly closings: check accruals, provisions, book salaries, amortizations, depreciations..
• Handle tax obligations (VAT, corporate tax returns)
• Help in the preparation of consolidated annual accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support the team in the updating and modernization of current IT tools and in-house processes

Senior Accountant – About You

• You have a obtained at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or in a related field, a Master’s degree is a plus
• You are fluent in English, French is an asset
• You have experience with Microsoft PowerBI
• You have at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role. An experience in the banking sector is always appreciated but not a must!
