Head of Finance

We are actively looking for a Head of Finance for an international organization based in Brussels.

The company’s objective is to offer customers adapted, secure and compliant financial solutions in Belgium and abroad.

In this role, you will supervise a team in charge of the day-to-day accounting, controlling, budgets and much more!

Head of Finance – Your Role:

• Establish quarterly and year-end closings
• Prepare the organization’s yearly financial statements
• Act as the point of contact during audits
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Oversee cash management
• Ensure compliance and review in-house control procedures
• Supervise a mid-size team: trainings, evaluations, establish and review KPIs..
• Regular reporting to the organization’s board and shareholders
• Prepare yearly budgets, track and explain potential variances

Head of Finance – About You

• You have obtained a Master’s degree in finance, economics or in a related field
• You are fluent in English, French is desirable but not essential
• You have at least 10 years’ experience, with experience in an executive/leadership role, as well as in accounting
• You have worked in the financial industry (in a bank, consultancy, fintech or any other relevant company/organization)

• Gross salary up to 10 000€/month
