Finance Manager

For this company active in the distribution of medical equipment, we are looking for an experience and autonomous Finance Manager who will directly report to the company’s Director.

A fast-growing player in its industry, the company is active in Belgium and throughout Europe. As their new Finance Manager, you will have a great impact in shaping their decision-making process as well as in day-to-day operations.

This job is based in Leuven.

Finance Manager – The Job

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting: AP, AR, month- and year-end closings
• Prepare the annual accounts
• Execute payments to vendors
• Act as the point of contact for the external accountants, the auditors and financial institutions
• Prepare analytical reports, present these to the upper management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s internal processes

Finance Manager – About You

• You have obtained a degree in accounting, economics, business engineering or in another relevant discipline
• You have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SME environment
• You are fluent in English, Dutch and you have at least an intermediate knowledge of French (B1)
